HEAVY GAUGE FRAME

All insulated structure doors are manufactured with a heavy gauge stainless steel door frame. This frame supports the door and hinge points and allows for long-term use of opening and closing over the years of operation.

The frame is foamed into the door frame panel and is not visible in the finished product. It's one of those features that allows Insulated-Structures™ to offer its unprecedented 15-year panel warranty.

INTERNAL STRAPS

Each wall panel has steel reinforcing straps mechanically fastened to each cam lock device. The straps form a solid connection from one cam lock to the other. These straps are foamed in place during the manufacture of the panel. When a walk-in room is constructed, the straps provide a “band of steel” around the entire walk-in adding

important strength to the connecting ability of the cam locks. When tightened, the walls are firmly in place and the seal between the two panels is assured. This feature also permits disassembly at a later date without the concern of having the cam locks loosen, allowing expansion and relocation without any compromise of the sealing action. It's another feature that plays a role in our 15-year panel warranty.

REVERSALATED DOORS

Insulated-Structures™ adds reinforcement hinge plates to both sides of the door.

This permits reversing the door swing in the field to make the door either a left hand swing or a right hand swing. The factory can supply a kit to accomplish this switch if desired.
